Brief

Based on primary research and inspired by your visit to the Venice Architectural Bienniale; design an interior for a pavilion 3 x 3m in area. It can be as tall as you like. The pavilion should be situated inside or outside your ‘Illustrated Places’ location.

Response to brief

Manchester has always had a large music scene and with the Royal Northern College of Music and BIMM institute all within the city Centre it means that there are a large group of growing musicians with nowhere to practice. The re-development allows those students and other musicians to be able to practice somewhere right in the heart of the city.
The central space will also be a place for the performing arts to also practice with a big circular stage in the Centre of the space.
